MEET JOHN

John Robbins was practically born into the business of motorsports. He grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, big thinkers and creative dreamers. He learned firsthand that a combination of hard work and thinking outside the box could produce powerful results. For almost two decades, John has focused on using his business acumen and strategic mind to build start-ups, advise CEO’s and advance the short track racing industry. From pit road to the boardroom and back again, his journey has truly been full circle.

John is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with Honors and High Distinction. He has been featured in Speed Sport, MotorTrend and his hometown The Herald Bulletin. He has given keynotes to business leader groups from 15-350, raised more than $1M in sponsorships and grant funding, and is a proud, native Hoosier.

“John has the rare combination of a bona fide business education and a lifelong understanding of the sport.”

Dave Argabright
Award-winning author, broadcaster and member of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame

“John’s breadth of executive, analytical, and marketing skills combined with experience ranging from technology to retail are exceptional. Most important, John is a natural leader with a high level of creativity, “assets” not often found today.”

Gary Hoover
Executive Director, American Business History Center, and Entrepreneur-in-Residence, School of Information, University of Texas at Austin

“John has a keen sense of what will work and not work in business. His sense for strategy is uncanny.”
